With more than 200 consulting projects under his belt, Jay brings unmatched expertise in rail logistics, network optimization, market research, and site selection—especially for bulk commodities and emerging energy sectors. Jay’s background blends a mechanical engineering education with entrepreneurial leadership. In addition to his work at RKP, he’s the founder of Ruck Mapping, where he’s developed industry-trusted rail and energy infrastructure maps used across the biofuels, agriculture, petroleum, and power sectors.

He has supported renewable energy developers, private equity firms, and industrial shippers with decisions ranging from rail-served energy site selection, large infrastructure acquisitions, to negotiating long term rail contracts—with a data-driven approach for real-world solutions.
